It was just
like yesterday, how far you’ve brought me Lord. It was like final year will never
come, today here I am. So grateful Lord and I know you’ll see me through to the
end gloriously.
If I shout it
won’t be enough, if I dance it won’t be enough, eternity won’t be enough to say
thank you for all you’ve done for me. My heart is so full of Joy, how you’ve
made my life so beautiful...Smile
My Admission Story-
After staying
home for almost 4years, after senior secondary, also battling with Jamb and Post-
Ume (making the Jamb though but post-ume wahala). I secretly took Basic form
and I made the entrance exam to run the program (a pre-degree program at University
of Port-Harcourt), secretly because my elder brother hated the idea of pre-degree
programs. With the advice and help from my friends, my elder brother also
supported when I told him. The program went well, was tough also interesting. To
cut long story short, I put in my best, sow seed, pray like I didn’t read and
read like I didn’t pray, went for almost all church programs on campus, still I
didn’t make the required mark to have the degree admission. I was so frustrated,
was like the end of the road, I gave up.
Then, my
pastor’s wife talked to me to try again. This time with certificate program, also
a pre-degree program but under the faculty of Education. I yield to her advice,
picked the form, wrote the entrance exam and made it by God’s grace to run the
program. While running the program, I took another Jamb and made above 200,
wrote Post-Ume, also made above 200...I was so happy.
I won’t
forget this day in a hurry, my friend called that evening that my name is in
admission merit list, I told him it’s a lie that his pulling my legs. Later
went to check and I saw my name ...OH GOD! I ran, scream, cried, called
everyone to break the news ‘Finally, I don get Admission...merit list oh..Na GodWin’.
I stopped the
certificate program, went home and came the other year as a year one student of
University of Port- Harcourt. Finally I wore matriculation gown and cap...Good
God. The journey has just begun.
From 101,
202, 303, 400, finally it’s almost over. It can only be God
